Wag Mob

Wag Mob

wag, join, win

You're a dog. The park is full of dogs. Trot up to a stray and it joins your pack. Run into a smaller pack and every dog of theirs you touch comes with you. Run into a bigger one and, well, your friends have a new best friend now. Biggest pack when the whistle blows wins.

One thumb, three minutes

Drag anywhere to steer. That is the whole control scheme. A match is three minutes somewhere laid out like a little city of aisles and lanes: a grocery store, a zoo, a farm, a park. You thread the lanes, cut other packs off at corners, and try not to get trapped with a bigger pack coming the other way.

A pack running the lanes, white strays ahead
Picking a breed before the match

Every dog that joins you becomes one of yours

Strays are white until somebody recruits them. Touch one and it turns into your breed and trots along. Every pack on the field is a different breed in a different color, so you can read the whole park at a glance: that black-and-tan mob is the Airedales, the cream one is the Great Pyrenees, the little orange one is the Corgis.

Pick your breed, and later your animal

Eleven to choose from, each with one small knack. St. Bernards are gentle giants that start with extra friends. Dalmatians are quick off the mark. Airedales are tenacious and win tug-of-wars. Greyhounds are the fastest leaders in the park. Great Pyrenees are slow but hard to break up. Labradors don't slow down in the pond. Huskies barely feel the weight of a big pack. Corgis are a bit slow but start with extra friends. The knack is small on purpose: the size of your pack still decides most fights. The breed decides the close ones. Dogs are the first roster. Cats, farm animals, zoo animals, and wild packs are coming as their own rosters.

Lose your pack, lose the match

If your pack hits zero and a bigger pack touches you, you're out. No respawn, no revive, no ad to watch. The field thins as the match goes on, and if you're the last pack standing the whistle blows early.

Squirrel!

Every so often a squirrel sprints down a street, and every dog near it, yours included, forgets what it was doing and gives chase. Then the treat truck pulls up by the cart and pours out strays for twenty seconds, and every pack in the park converges on the same corner. Short matches, big moments.

Four maps, four modes

The Grocery Store is aisles of shelves and freezers, a deli counter, and a spill on aisle five. The Zoo is enclosures and a flamingo pond, with some very interested lions. The Farm is fields and pens, a barn, and a tractor towing a trailer of treats. The Big Park is hedges and streets, a playground, and a fountain.

Classic is three minutes, biggest pack at the whistle. Endless has no clock and runs until one pack is left. Hold the Yard scores you for every second your leader stands in the yard, so position beats size. Daily Park gives everyone the same park and the same packs for the day; beat your own best.

Barks, yips, and one whistle

Every dog you recruit yips. Every tug-of-war barks. The whistle starts and ends the match. There's a sound toggle if you're on the train.

Questions

What does it cost?

Nothing to download, nothing to play. Three-minute matches in The Grocery Store with every breed, and the Daily Park, are free, as much as you like, forever. One purchase removes the clock for good: Endless matches that run until one pack is left, plus The Zoo, The Farm, The Big Park, Hold the Yard, and every map and mode we add later. That is the only thing for sale. There are no ads in either version, no currency, no loot, no subscription.

Does it need an account, or an internet connection?

Neither. Every opponent is a computer-controlled pack, so it plays on a plane.

Do the dogs get hurt?

No. Nothing dies and nothing is destroyed. A dog that leaves your pack has simply decided the other pack looks like more fun. Some dogs are briefly disloyal.

Is this Crowd City with dogs?

It is the same kind of game, the way every racing game is the same kind of game. The park, the breeds, the knacks, the no-respawn rule and the no-ads promise are ours.
